The Actors Theatre's next season opens with a laugh with this classic, the longest-running British play when it debuted. A writer wants inspiration for his next novel, so he hires a psychic to perform a seance and expects it to go well--until he summons the ghost of his ex-wife, who tries to foil his current marriage.

In the Studio with Wilbur Niewald

The arts have been alive in this city for years--just ask Wilbur Niewald. The Nelson-Atkins will present a retrospective show across nearly seven decades of work from the local painter, who attended the Kansas City Art Institute and later returned as a professor. See everything from his abstract work to his observational pieces, including cityscapes from right here.

After bringing Jason Aldean and Dierks Bentley, the Country Megaticket goes out with a bang as Luke Bryan headlines. The country heartthrob, with his dynamic live shows, will make you leave the Sprint Center saying "Play It Again."
