Inside the closet of Kyli Childers

Kyli Childers Inside My Closet 435 Magazine Kansas City

Kyli Childers, 36, has a few trademarks: leopard print (shoes, purses, the closet carpet, you name it), an arsenal of sunglasses (her current obsession is a pair of Tom Fords she snagged from Nordstrom) and throwback tennis shoes (Brooks Heritage Collection, personalized NIKEiDs and New Balance classics, to name a few). In her Overland Park open-shelf walk-in closet, which she shares with husband Chris, the stay-at-home mom (self-described as a chauffer, short-order cook and launderer) balances dual styles: sporty, often wearing Lululemon; Alo Yoga and Etiquette Boutique polished off by Ray-Bans sneakers for day-to-day errands and corralling two “crazy fun boys” Cruz, 5, and Canton, 3; and trendy but edgy, opting for labels like Rag & Bone, Louis Vuitton and Vince finished off by a leather jacket and a statement necklace or choker for nights out.

“I feel like once you find a denim brand that fits your body type, you have struck gold.”
