Chase McAnulty, CEO and Founder of Charlie Hustle grew up in Overland Park, KS collecting old vintage t-shirts. He appreciated the story that each shirt told and what it represented. Chase moved to Lawrence, Kan. to get his “college life experience" while attending the Kansas City Art Institute studying graphic design. While in school Chase began selling and trading vintage shirts and became enamored with the underground culture of those who also valued finding a one-of- a-kind 1970’s Nike t-shirt or original concert t-shirt. Being a Kansas Jayhawks fan, Chase had always wanted to see better collegiate sports apparel in the market. It wasn't long before he put his two passions together--graphic design and vintage t-shirts--to create what we know of today as Charlie Hustle.

Holly McAnulty, Chase’s wife and the company’s Director of Communications and Business Development grew up in Omaha, Neb. and graduated from The University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kan. Holly and Chase met in Lawrence and were good friends throughout college. After college Holly moved to Los Angeles to pursue her passion in the entertainment industry. While living in LA, Holly and Chase remained connected, Holly helped with producing photo shoots and marketing efforts for the blooming Charlie Hustle brand. Once Holly moved back to Kansas City she and Chase began their journey together, building Charlie Hustle into a household name brand. In 2012, the brand took another big step: launching
their official website.

The two were married in September of 2016 and have gone from hustling together through late nights of packaging and sending out orders themselves to having a fully staffed warehouse, office space, and retail store located on the Country Club Plaza.

In 2018 the company owners have high hopes of opening a new retail location and continuing to grow throughout the Midwest as a strong collegiate apparel competitor and establish themselves as a strong player in the collegiate apparel market while evoking happiness through the culture they have built.
