   The W

Why you’re here: True to Prohibition-era fashion, this drinks den is hidden in plain sight, this time behind an unmarked door in historic downtown Lee’s Summit. Creatively crafted and updated classic seasonal cocktails are The W’s focus, and these almost-too-pretty-to-sip libations are expressed through locally sourced ingredients, house-made syrups, tonics and artisanal ice dreamed up by bartender and general manager Mike Strohm. It’s a speakeasy experience to be had, just be sure to plan ahead; this 38-seater serves by reservation only.
