Relive the ‘80s and break out your favorite leg warmers (we know you’ve been waiting for their return!), “Flashdance The Musical” is here. Celebrate the 1983 pop culture classic’s 30th anniversary as the cast and crew tell the story of Alex Owens and her unforgettable journey to live her dream.
The live stage performance will have signature songs from the film, such as “Flashdance — What a Feeling” and “Maniac,” as well as introduce 16 new songs the audience will be sure to be humming on the way home.

Mix 93.3’s annual music festival is back again, this time with headliner Carly Rae Jepsen. Jepsen, known for one of the most popular songs of 2012, “Call Me Maybe,” will be joined by acts Hot Chelle Rae, Emblem 3, MKTO and Stefano Langone.
After the show, stay tuned for the brightly-colored boom of a spectacular fireworks display.

See the stars and party with them, too, at the third annual Big Slick Celebrity Poker Tournament and Party. The two-day event, hosted by Kansas City’s own Jason Sudeikis, Paul Rudd and Rob Riggle, consists of a celebrity wiffle ball game, a Texas hold ‘em poker tournament, and a celebrity party and auction. Enjoy food and fun, all while supporting the Children’s Mercy Hospital Cancer Center.
Proceeds from the event benefit the center, whose mission is to help improve the physical and emotional well-being of children with cancer and their families.
