Keep your cool at any gathering with these patriotic frozen treats. The Fourth of July is always the ideal occasion to spend with family and friends, break out the barbeque and light up some sparklers. When the scorching summer sun gets a little too unbearable, you know it is the perfect time cool to things down with a festive treat. We found our four favorite frozen treats that are sure to wow guests and make your party go out with a bang.
 

Patriotic Popsicles

This recipe is so simple and the presentation makes it beautiful to serve. Simply puree your fruit and layer it with the yogurt for a salute worthy treat.
1 C raspberries
1 C blueberries
1 C vanilla Greek yogurt
 

American Flag Ice Cream Cake

Seriously, what could be better than an ice cream cake? With alternating layers of raspberry sorbet and vanilla ice cream, the topping of fresh blueberry sauce makes this treat shine. 
3 pints raspberry sorbet
2 pints vanilla ice cream
Blueberry sauce (see recipe below)
1-2 C blueberries for serving
Blueberry Sauce:
2 1⁄2 C blueberries
1/3 C sugar
Zest of one lemon
1 T lemon juice

Frozen Margaritas

These tasty drinks are festive, fun and oh so good. Substitute the alcohol for apple juice (or any light colored fruit juice or nectar) to make it kid friendly and you have yourself a sippable frozen treat anyone can enjoy.
Frozen Strawberry Margarita Ingredients:
2 C frozen strawberries
1⁄2 C tequila
1⁄4 C fresh lime juice
1⁄4 C agave nectar
Extra ice, if needed
Frozen Blueberry Margarita Ingredients:
1 C frozen blueberries
1⁄2 C tequila 
1⁄4 C fresh lime juice
1⁄4 C agave nectar
Extra ice, if needed
Frozen Coconut Margarita Ingredients:
1⁄2 C coconut milk
1⁄2 C silver tequila
1⁄4 C fresh lime juice
1⁄4 C agave nectar
