Kansas City Royals and KCP&L Launch 'Cops Are Topps' Baseball Card Program

The Kansas City Royals partnered with KCP&L to create a baseball card program called Cops Are Topps.  These cards will each feature a different Royals baseball player on the front while listing safety tips on the back.

The Royals delivered the cards to the KC Police Department South Patrol division on May 25. Police officers, firefighters and EMS will carry the cards to give to children and “encourage positive relationships in the community,” according to a Royals press release.

Cops Are Topps will be highlighted before the Royals vs. Indians game on Friday, June 2. KCP&L volunteers, along with KCPD officers, will pass out the cards at Kauffman Stadium’s entry gates.

To receive sets of cards, police officers, firefighters and members of EMS can apply here.
