Kansas City Royals Unveil 2017 Season Theme, 'Raised Royal'

First, we were shown what it meant to “Be Royal,” then we became “Forever Royal” and now, for the 2017 season, we’re reminded that we were “Raised Royal.”
The Kansas City Royals teamed up once again with award-winning Mission-based agency Walz Tetrick Advertising for the slogan campaign.
Motivation for the slogan comes from fans, the attendance rate at Kauffman Stadium, social media engagement and our record TV and radio ratings. But the TV spot sums it up best: “It doesn’t matter if you’re on the field or in the stands, when your team is your family, you’re “Raised Royal.”
Fans can also show their pride with mobile wallpapers, social covers (think Facebook and Twitter cover photos and avatars), purchasing a “Raised Royal” flag to wave on Opening Day and showing how they’re “Raised Royal” with memes sporting favorite phrases such as “My favorite meal is a ballpark hot dog,” “I only call him Salvy” and Denny Matthews’ voice reminds me of my childhood.”
In tandem with the new campaign, the Royals are local artists to paint murals depicting elements of the campaign on walls all over Kansas City.
Opening Day is April 10 against the Oakland Athletics.
