About Travis Marvin
Independent country artist Travis Marvin has won a sizable fan following through his rock-infused songs and close connection with his fans. Born and raised in Kansas, Marvin began pursuing a career in country music in the mid-2000s, and earned a reputation as a showman who wasn’t afraid to work the crowd. Marvin also embraced the Internet as a way to spread word about his music and stay in contact with his supporters — Marvin oversees his own website and handles his own social media accounts. Marvin is also a busy live performer, playing headlining shows in country-themed clubs and opening for the likes of Eric Church, John Rich, Little Big Town, Luke Bryan, and Florida Georgia Line. In 2008, Marvin released a self-titled four-song EP, which he distributed on his own label. Another self-titled EP followed in 2011. In 2016, Marvin returned with a third release, a six-song EP titled Simple. The title track won favor at a number of country music stations, and the EP rose to the Top Ten of the Heatseekers chart for up-and-coming artists.
