Aug 16 – Aug 18 all-day Swope Park
The Ethnic Enrichment Festival is one of the largest festivals of its kind in the country. Experience more than 60 cultures’ native foods, arts, music and dance. Festival runs Friday 6-10 pm, Saturday noon-10 pm, Sunday noon-6 pm. $5 for adults, free for kids 12 and under.
Aug 17 – Aug 18 all-day KC Pumpking Patch
What better way to celebrate the transition from Summer to fall, than a sunflower and peach festival. Enjoy beautiful sunflower fields, sipping wine, sampling food, and enjoying family yard games. Kansas City Taste will feature more than 30 restaurants showing off their most creative dishes. Enjoy delicious food and drink, listen to live music, and enjoy demonstrations by nationally- renowned chefs.
Aug 22 @ 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm Overland Park Arboretum and Botanical Gardens
Joins us for a relaxing evening with delicious wine and tasty appetizers featuring regional and internationally produced wines. Advance registration is required.
