Make It A Weekend At Tumbleweed Country Music Festival
Bring your RV, grab a cabin or pitch a tent, then settle in to hear Alabama, Blackberry Smoke and many more headliners as they take the single main stage at the Tumbleweed Country Music and Camping Festival from May 30 to June 1, 2019. It’s pure country music for three nights and two days at this premiere Kansas City event.
New this year, take advantage of a special offer to get $5 off any ticket to Tumbleweed when you buy your ticket through Kansas City’s local ticket source, 435Tix.
Family and friends of all ages will gather at Wildwoods Outdoor Education Center in La Cygne, Kansas for a festival where country music reigns and true country fans are there to enjoy the music. With a single main stage, festival goers will never miss a headliner performance from artists like The Marshall Tucker Band, Whiskey Myers and Reckless Kelly.
But it’s not just the music that sets the Tumbleweed Country Music Festival apart. Tumbleweed offers archery, canoe trips, zip lining, a rock wall, fishing, horse-drawn carriage rides, a petting zoo, lakeside bonfires, a live handmade guitar build and country craft and food vendors. The festival has also teamed up with KC Watersports to showcase stunt devils of cable wakeboarding performing flips, jumps and riding the rails in the ponds adjacent to main stage.
Several camping and lodging options make it easy for attendees to set up and enjoy the entire weekend. Forest camping at Tumbleweed allows tent campers to pitch tents in the grassy, manicured forest camping area. Without cars, Tumbleweed offers a tranquil and social atmosphere that welcomes campfires, grilling and celebration. A designated quiet camping area is perfect for those who prefer to get away from the party, particularly for family camping. Mulched paths are lit by hanging can lights making walking not just safe but magical.
More than two hundred RV’s hug the forest camping area, offering options for those who prefer the amenities of their own RV. With a “Relaxation Station Pass,” campers can enjoy the amenities of shower facilities, real restrooms, resting bunks and charging stations.
Cabins are available steps from main stage with lake views and offer “glamping” amenities such as running water for showers, restrooms, electricity and bunks.
